History:

Richard Gill was the only child of a small town minister, in upstate New York. He hard a normal, though very religious up bringing in his life. He was taught how to do everything the god way, but because of that he was an outcast early on. Why was that, well he was the only kid in school who had to leave during the Sex education, things like that. All of that mounted up and built up Richard's outcast level.

Besides being an outcast Richard's life was normal. He grew up going to school, and when he got home learning about god from his parents. Though because of constantly being forced to learn about god, Richard grew up resenting and hating god himself. But he struggled through, having the thoughts of running away one of these days. Then shortly after his 14th Birthday, Richard's whole life changed.

His own mutant powers started to emerge, but not all at once, the first ones to come out happened to be his physical appearance ones. His parent's feared what he was at first, not even knowing it, at first they thought he was some kind of Demon. His own father took Richard away, and locked him in the basement of the house they lived in, for fear of the town finding out they had a demon for a son, and taking an extra precaution they told the school Richard would be home schooled from then on. Once a month Richard's father would come down and try to exorcise the demon from Richard, to return him to a normal boy once again.

Then about 7 months after he was first locked away, when his father was giving up hope, Richard got his first big break. He learned two things, the first was the chains that were holding him, had broken a little, allowing him to slip free of them. The 2nd came when his father came down for the monthly exorcism, though Richard didn't know it would be his last no matter what. He learned there was more to what happened to him then on the physical level. When his father came down, he started to get sick, and Richard who was loose took this moment to strike. Months of being locked up, and treated like a monster came crawling back to Richard, who used all of that anger to kill his own father, and then when his mother came to investigate, killed her as well, after all she didn't do anything to help him.

After that, Richard became a one man, god-killing spree, technically speaking. He was trying to find a new place to live, and traveling down to New York City, hoping he can hide there. But one the way every time he ran across a Minister or Priest, he would kill them. Feeling he was still getting his revenge over how he was treated by his own father. Then came the next big even in Richard's life. After killing another Local minister, he was found out by some Towns people before he could leave town. They managed to corner Richard, and with his stress, something happened. They didn't get sick like he thought they were; instead they just couldn't see them anymore. He gathered that by their reactions, and taking the distraction, he ran.

Eventually Richard found his way to New York City. There he set up a life, though not much of one at that. He lived on the streets, and was still killing people, but just to get money and survive. Thanks to the situations that were surrounding it though, he started to learn more about his powers. He learned he can make the sickness, or the invisibility come when he wants to now, and control which effect came out. After that, he started to use his powers more, to help him survive, used them to steal easier from people, just so he can have more money to survive. Another thing happened to Richard as well, he stopped referring to himself as Richard Gill, why because to him Richard Gill was dead, the new one, was an animal, which is why he picked his name Wildside, since he let his Wildside through. Though he still stayed hidden, because no one wanted him around, after all with the way he looks.

Known superhuman powers: Wildside has the power to distort a person's perception of things. He can give them a bad trip so to speak, make them get Vertigo, or he can make himself and others invisible to their senses.
Other abilities: Wildside is highly agile, not superhumanly so, but he can give olympic gymnasts a run for their money.
Weapons and paraphernalia: His Claws, Fangs, Hygenie habits and bad breath.
Other notes: Wildside is pretty much legally insane, and a clown at heart, hides the pain of his early life that way.
