History:
Theodore is the only child of Sarah and Thomas Winchester, born in at home in the Winchester family home southwest of Alice Springs in a little town named Erldunda, Australia. His childhood was typical for one of the children born in the outback of Australia. His chores and schooling came first, and then any fun he could find would be the order of the day. However, chores around the farming homestead were the dominant time consumer, and Theo developed a hard work ethic under the hard-but-caring Thomas. His mother taught his school lessons along with the teacher that communicated with him via short wave radio. For as long as he can remember, he helped his father out with almost all of his free time. The cattle farm required maintenance constantly, and the cattle were always needing someone to look after them. The family was extremely close, as tends to happen when there is no one around for several miles. Even his aunt Marge and uncle Jono in Melbourne tried to stay in close contact whenever they could. Theo learned at an early age how to take care of himself in the wilderness, how to drive the family Range Rover, and how to perform general chores on the farm. Together with his father, they drove all over the expansive land, laying dingo fences, taking care of the sick cattle and feeding the healthy, as well as protecting them from the Australian wildlife and the Aborigines that killed the cattle for food.
During his teens, his mother introduced him to photography, and Theo was instantly in love with a new practice. He spent his allowance on a camera during one of the infrequent trips into Alice Springs, as well as enough film to stock a small army of photojournalists. He took pictures of anything and everything. He and his father constructed a dark room shed, so that his mother could teach him how to develop pictures without having to travel all the way to the Springs to have them done there. His aunt and uncle fell out of close contact along this time due to his uncle gaining a publishing job in New York. After a brief time with no communication, they invited the family to visit, but due to time constraints and money troubles, they couldn't afford the trip.
Theo began to bulk up as he gained a few years, becoming a strapping young man. He received an offer to work on another farm, doing the same work he was doing at home. After discussing things with his parents, he accepted the position and began work. After toiling in the fields all day, he'd come home and help his father with any chores that he wouldn't have been able to get done during the day. A year passed by, and Theo's employer offered him two weeks off for his 17th birthday which coincided with another offer by his aunt and uncle for the family to visit New York with his uncle footing the bill. A trip was planned out, and with a slight delay to get passports and tickets, all three were on a flight to New York. The timing wasn't particularly good, as Theo was beginning to feel some pain in his chest, but the trip continued on regardless.
Upon arrival to New York, Theo's pains were spreading into his arms and legs and he was taken to the hospital in order to find out what was wrong with him. Nothing was determined, although he was kept overnight for observation. His appetite had grown quite a bit overnight, and he was consuming everything he could get his hands on. The staff thought this was strange, but released him to his parents with a clean bill of health. The pains had subsided for the most part, but the hunger pangs Theo was feeling were ravenous. After some touring, they returned to Jono and Marge's townhouse for the evening. Everyone noticed Theo scratching himself, and he was surprised himself as to how all of his skin itched. The next morning, everyone (including Theo himself) was in for a surprise, as Theo had a coat of thick red fur over his whole body. On top of that, he had grown several inches and gained about eighty pounds of muscle overnight. Everyone was baffled, but no one talked about it. Shock had descended on the group, and was holding them fast. Theo was consumed by his appetite, eating everything he could get his hands on, and ignoring the pleas of his parents to come to his senses. This continued for the next two days, over which time Theo had grown two feet, and had gained close to four hundred pounds. Everything he touched was destroyed by his sudden and immense strength. He was as helpless as a baby.
Uncle Jono considered taking Theo back to the hospital, but Thomas refused to let his son be seen in public in this condition. They did some shopping for clothes big enough for the newly grown Theo, as well as grabbing enough groceries to sustain his enormous appetite. He was kept in the apartment for the remainder of the two weeks, eating and watching American television. The time came for the family to return to Australia, and it finally occurred to them that Theo wouldn't be able to get past customs, much less board the plane.
His parents departed for home without their son, leaving Theo in the capable hands of Jono and Marge, along with the money they could spare for food and the repairs to the townhouse. With any luck they would find a way to get Theo out of the US and back home, but the process could take a while as they need to find a quasi-illegal contact to make the deal. Until that time, Jono's trying to find a way to get Theo out of the house but also keep him in good care.

Unusual physical characteristics: His entire body is covered in
short reddish orange fur. Thick, pointed nails on fingers and toes.

off the land if he needs to.

Other notes: The pic is of the person who would play Theo in an XET movie,
Aussie bodybuilder Lee Priest, but there would be a few CGI improvements to get the bulk
and fur going.
